Stanford LP Gas is a second generation, family
owned, regional propane supplier. It was started by Dale
and Edna Stanford in 1957.
Dale
and Edna Stanford started the business filling and
delivering 100lb cylinders under the Stanford
Skelgas name. They were people of good
character, treating customers fairly and like family.

Since
then,
Stanford LP Gas
has grown into one of mid-Michigan's major LP gas
suppliers. From our two locations in Midland and
Gladwin, we
serve
Midland, Bay, Saginaw, Gladwin and Clare counties.
As
a local company firmly rooted in the community, we
believe that we can take care of our customers in a way
that a non-local or out of state company can’t do or
doesn’t care to do.
